Gilomen Innovations has spent hundreds of hours developing and testing our 2017-2019 Polaris 1000 Ranger G5 100 HP ECU Flash tune. Countless hours were spent on our engine dynamometer testing and tuning along with hundreds of hours field testing for durability to produce the absolute finest most refined ECU tune available This tune is for all the 2017 1000 Ranger models, and 2018 1000 Crew models. We have special versions developed that are applied to the Highlifter, Northstar, and Hunter Edition models. We have unlocked all the limiters in the ECU to achieve MASSIVE horsepower gains throughout the RPM curve. The factory ECU programming limits the throttle valve opening angle when the throttle pedal is pressed 100%. With our G5 tune you get 100% of the available power when 100% throttle pedal is applied. There are many areas in the ECU maps that I change to get rid of the EPA friendly boggy lean condition at part throttle cruising. This allows your motor to run cooler, last longer and be way more responsive. This tune greatly increases your Rangers ability to do work, farming tasks, and take you to your hunting location because of the better low speed drivability and way more power on tap for when you get into sticky situations and need power to get you thru. Max HP after the tune is 98-102 hp @ 7600-8000 RPM. Top speeds can exceed 75mph.

Clutch tuning is absolutely needed with this tune to let it perform properly. That is why I offer this ECU tune with a clutch kit to allow the engine to run at the RPM where peak G5 hp is. The stock clutching is designed to run at 6100-6400 RPM which is way too low for this tune. If you want full potential out of this tune you NEED to re-clutch. The clutch kits we offer are designed around the power profile of the tuned ECU. Our clutching gets rid of the horrible factory clunk / jerk at take off that the 1000 ranger is known for. Take off is very smooth yet very responsive. I have had many people comment how smooth the machine drives after our clutching and ECU tune. Drivability at slow speeds is greatly improved! The Elite Shift clutch kit that comes in the ECU tune kit includes primary clutch spring and weights along with detailed install instructions and torque specs. No special tools or pullers are needed to install the clutch kit. Most people can install the clutch kit in 30 minutes. I have had several people ask if their heater will work as good in the winter after the 20 degree cooler fan temps and the answer is absolutely yes. I have tested this during the harsh winter in Minnesota on my personal machine and found the heat works exactly the same. The reason for this is because the engine has a 180 degree thermostat and during the winter the cooling fan rarely comes on with or without a tuned ECU but the thermostat is always maintaining proper engine temp to keep the heater core hot.
UPDATE 3/12/2018 Many Polaris models with stock ECU programming suffer from false misfire codes ( 65590, 65591, 65592 ) due to drive belt issues, excessive tire spin, constant high speed driving, or for no apparent reason at all. Polaris made these codes way too sensitive & are unable to delete the codes. Our newest version tunes 3/12/2018 and later will eliminates the false check engine codes 65590, 65591, 65592!!
